have credit programs which may not accommodate a borrower’s request (e.g., due to a lower FICO score or credit report issue, insufficient income/liquidity/net worth, or a DSC Ratio not meeting a minimum threshold),
have risk management policies that would require additional risk mitigation analysis in order to gain comfort with specific underwriting issues,
may elect, due to time constraints, to decline complex loan requests rather than perform additional analysis, and/or
would like to supplement their marketing program for sourcing additional new business development.
